HARTSVILLE - CareSouth Carolina (Care Innovations) is hosting a Black and White Gala to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the local communities.
HIV/AIDS continues to be on the rise in South Carolina. South Carolina ranks 8th in the nation for AIDS case rates.

The funds from the Gala will benefit efforts to provide education, incentives for testing and increasing access to medical care, which will reduce the number of people not in care for HIV/AIDS.

The Gala is Sauturday, January 16, at the Hartsville Country Club. The event is from 6 pm. until 10 p.m. and feature live entertainment, food, and auction items.
Tickets are $50 for couples, and $30 for individuals
